98% of new music is always crap. We just remember "back in the day" as being better because we're leaving out all the horrible tripe that we forgot about. Pop radio is always annoying, but I think it's actually not that bad these days as it once was. Remember when every other song on the radio was by "Ace of Base"? At least rock is back at the top of the charts instead of 'dance music'.

When I was into the good stuff as a kid, half the shit I listened to never saw the inside of a radio station. Radio sucked so bad (not like it's
great now either) On the rare occasion you heard something new that was good they never told you who the hell it was. In the eighties, I remember putting on all this dark shit while they played pablum like Bon Jovi(wank), Slaughter (wank-wank) etc..Lord how I did/do HATE metal lite...I have no idea where this is leading..I gotta go play my guitar for a while methinks.

lioke I was saying, not all new music is crap, most things you'll hear or see constantly on TV or on the radio is crap, yes, but I mean, there's a shitload of other stuff out there, I mean, Im 15 and a Metallica freak, and their good stuff was over before I was even old enough to know about them, anywhoo, personally, there's a few bands out there now that are pretty damn good

for example:

Hatebreed
System of a Down
Static-X
Incubus
Korn (okay so their getting a little old, but, I'm biased because they were the first band I ever liked)
and MUNG! [img]tongue.gif[/img]
And... alot of other bands I forget at the moment... [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Basically, true, 99% OF what most people hear is crap, but, if you dig through enough shit, there might be a diamond in there [img]wink.gif[/img]
